With the handling of projects, homework and of course peer pressure, how can one individual not be stressed with his/her daily life. I have just stepped into secondary school and I am gettting the taste of a teenager's life. I am definitely missing primary school days. However, we can only move forward in life and not backwards in life. Teenagers can easily be stressed especially if they are in one of the top schools. They have to burn the midnight oil in order to finish their homework due to their long duration in school. This is the main problem teenagers face thus resulting them to be depressed as they have not completed their homework. Peer pressure is what most humans face- from children to adults. But this has a greater impact on teenagers. Peer pressure can happen when you are not sure of whether you want to do that particular task and your friend or peer starts forcing you. I really think that teenagers should be brave and have a mind of their own to decide on what they want to do and have a strong stand with their decision. Teenagers also start having feelings towards the opposite gender as they grow older. This will also result in them not performing well in their examinations. This will also cause them to become depressed as their parents would be punishing and adivisng them. When teenagers are depressed, they might tend to harm themselves bu cutting their hand and etc. To prevent this from happening, they should consult an adult whom they can rely on or a counselor to share their feelings with. This will help them to tackle the problems they are facing better. However, most teenagers are not comfortable approaching them as they believe that their friends can do a better job since they are of the same age and would probably be on the same plight as them and understand them better than the adults. But this is the question. How can a person the same age as you possibly give an advice better than that of an adult? I surely think that teenagers should be guided. This will of course make them a better person in the society. Manesha xoxo, 1N's Celebrit-y Tuesday, April 13, 2010 - ![]() ![]() In a teenage life, love is a problem. In families, friends, everything. Love plays with your mood & emotions. When I was young, I use to always be happy with the people I love. But sadly, in my teen life now, love hurts. Sometimes, I'll be alone in my home with my tears draining my happiness. My hot tears would fill my loneliness that time, & I would usually ask myself, "Do I really love you?" In a teens life, this usually happen when you have family problems, like a slight argument with your parents. I found that as I grow & finally stepped into the teenage life, my emotions are sensitive & I usually feel sad & stressed. But sometimes, I must stand up & get out from all those misery. I got to make a change if I want my teenage life to be what I want. Diana (: xoxo, 1N's Celebrit-y Friday, April 9, 2010 - ![]() ![]() Teens' life, eh ? Well, I used to hide in the shadows, not wanting to face the new world, secondary life. Many teens face this problem & are afraid to see that future. I used to be one of them... Before I start my school life in Cedar Girls' Secondary School, I was afraid & not wanting to move on to that secondary life. I do not want to feel stress, be piled with projects & experience new subjects , like history, literature & geography. It was as if my life has no meaning anymore. But, my bestest friend in the whole world, Syairah, motivated me. She told me that I have a brighter future ahead & there were many doors of possibilities opened for me. "Take a step each day & learn to love your life, just like how you learnt to love the Earth when you were young," said Syairah, & her words motivated me till now. Thank you, Syairah, for always being there for me & motivating me to keep moving forward & also to be never afraid to open new doors in life. Though I'm loaded with projects & work, I'm very happy to be surrounded by my beloved 1N classmates everday at school. At least my life is bright & filled with joy & laughter... xoxo, 1N's Celebrit-y Thursday, April 8, 2010 - ![]() ![]() xoxo, 1N's Celebrit-y |
